Yet another whine about the vagaries of the weather and the evil drive-thru window that opens into the wind.
You warm, safe, patients drive up in your mostly sealed-up, into the lee of the wind car, and can't understand why we shudder, squint, and spit out rain, sleet or snow.
But, if we close the window for our own warmth and sanity, you stomp in, complaining all the while at being "forced" out into the weather.
Where, oh where, is Spring?

My store doesn't have a drive-thru. I put in enough years in ACTUAL fast food to resent them anyway, though.
I almost didn't take the job once I found out about the window.
So far, no one has actually asked for "fries with that" (and I soooo wanted that blogname!) but if anyone ever does, it may not be pretty.
Today, it's a fantastic grey out, with 1-2 more inches expected. By Friday, though, we'll be taking turns getting our Vitamin D in the morning at the window, and wishing we had out sunglasses for the glare. And maybe, just maybe, the weather will hold long enough for our roof to get replaced!
My favorite is hurricane/tropical storm winds. People are too fn stupid to use the paper weight in the drawer and get mad at me when they have to get out of their car to chase down cash or a credit card that blew out...stupid...
I once had a drive-thru customer ask me to get the script that blew out of the drawer and under her car. Had to tell her I no door leading to the drive-thru space. You should have seen the look on her face when I suggested she get out of her car to get it herself. Priceless...
