I enjoy reading your blogs. I've been in retail since 1963. Retired and doing some part time work at stores where I have a fun time only! I have also been doing medical missions to Haiti which are professionally rewarding.

I applaud you for helping out Haiti. I feel really bad for them because many times they cannot get food, soap and toilet paper. I would swim to the U.S. too! I donate things to a group that goes to Haiti several times each year to help out children with clothing, shoes, food, and health care. They really need all the help they can get because Haiti truly is a 3rd world country.
