This song parody is dedicated to all the disgusting filthy meth addicts that come into the pharmacies of Missouri in all states of f*cked up trying to buy sudafed containing products but get blocked by the state wide monitoring system. Hopefully the state legislature makes all sudafed containing products prescription only soon! I would much rather go out of my way to get a prescription than watch methamphetamine destroy thousands of lives.

I love it! I was sooooo happy when they finally connected all the systems her in MO. The first few weeks we had a rash of "Unable to proceed with sale" messages, and they gave up. It was amazing!
Sudafed was made prescription only here in Mississippi in July. AND I LOVE IT!! I would much rather deal with a few angry customers that need a prescription, than the + 100 methheads I would get everyday!

My question, and it truly is a question, as I don't know the answer, is this: Has restricting access to Sudafed made a noticeable reduction in meth addicts?
If it has, super. If it hasn't, why restrict it further?
In response to Suzanne- I expect that imports have soared.theoretically law enforcement can spend their time on other stuff. The 1 really positive effect of methcheck that I'm aware of is that smurfs can't steal it from the shelves where the other OTCs are.
Very nice:) Luckily, I've only come across maybe 3 or 4 pseudo-heads where I work and I didn't even realize it (except for one) until it was pointed out to me.
To Suzanne: Local law enforcement has reported a drastic decrease in the number of meth labs. They have no idea of addict numbers as meth is highly addictive and its addicts will travel far and wide to get it. In a perfect world the number of addicts would decrease but the reality is that foreign labs now control most of the meth influx into the US. The other problem is that street dealers have gotten better at obtaining prescription amphetamines, such as Ritalin, Concerta, etc by using their children and physicians that pretty much put every child on ADD amphetamines to supply their buyers with more potent and readily available sources of product at a decent profit since many of the children are on state medicaid so their drugs are free. The system disgusts me and it is pretty much child abuse in my book. Yay welfare!
