It is with a heavy heart, a pint of fudge ripple, and a bottle of Jack Daniels that I write this post. I have been in a retail pharmacy for almost 12 years. I have witnessed some crazy shite in my locations and other locations around me.
Ther are many reasons to be fired from a job but mine has got to be one of the most rediculous. I fell asleep on the job and the loss prevention investigator popped in for a nigt check.
I am going to wallo in self pity and sleep it off. I will pik up teh pieces later and hunt for a new job in a few days.

that blows. Ad is an argument for having more than 1 person on at a time. Since safety doesn't seem to be enough for most chains, maybe lost $$$ is.

Of course it was an April Fool's joke. I was inspired by the Loss Pevention guy because he did come in at 7am at the store I was covering for to talk to the manager. I usually don't have a problem staying awake. I either sleep or I don't but I always keep busy enough at work that sleeping is the last thing I have time to do. In my 12 years at McDruggie's I have only known of two people fired for falling asleep on the job. I think their job performance was so pathetic that this was the easiest offense to fire them for.
